Ann P Stokes
Landscape Architect, ASLA. Master planning, urban design and garden design. 1993 graduate of University of Virginia Graduate School of Architecture.
Residental projects include a master plan and site design for a 300-acre estate near Ann Arbor, MI and residences in Accomack County, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach,
Va.
Commercial and institutional projects include an urban park for downtown Norfolk, Va; courtyard garden for Chrysler Museum of Norfolk; landscape consultation for East Beach residential development, Norfolk, Va; landscape design for Aspen Highlands Village in Aspen, Co, and landscape design for two corporate campuses in New Jersey.
Academic projects include site design for the Student and Academic Services Building, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; site design for the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; initial implementation of master plan at the College of Notre Dame at Maryland;.a memorial garden and linear park for Norfolk State University;and site design for a new residence hall at the Taft School in Watertown, Ct (winner of Traditional Building Magazine’s 2004 Palladio Award.)
